Green grass rippling in the soft breeze
Quiet pools of sparkling fresh water
strength
and promises
Through the deepest darkness
unafraid
A wonderful higher love protects me
eternally.

Majestic white-capped mountains
Soft rippling stream
Powerful angry waves
Bullets of rain bombing the earth
Loud crackling thunder.

Fluffy clouds
Sparkling light
Twinkling stars
Shining bright
Skies of blue
Oceans deep
Grasses green
Softly sweep
Smooth pebbles
Gentle breeze
Vivid flowers
Swaying trees
Majestic mountains
Flowing streams
Soaring eagle
Life’s a dream
Golden sun
Silvery moon
The end has come
Way too soon.

Soaring higher and higher
into the silky black
as night blankets the sky
fighting the harsh winds
dodging the gnarled branches
breaking through to a
clearing
lightning strikes again
as the owl dips low following
a stream
winding its way through the
field
that used to be green
the owl departs
but the stream continues on
into the ocean
spreading out
into the salty water
melding together as one.
